Oats Inside & Out: Pamper your gut & your skin too!

Who doesn’t like nourishing fiber rich oatmeal to make our bellies full and happy? But slather oats on our skin?…

Yes! Oats can help our skin glow with gentle exfoliation and anti-inflammatory properties. Plus they contain saponins, a natural cleansing agent. Combine with manuka honey, high in antimicrobials and antioxidants to get your glow on!

Oat & Honey Face Mask

  • 2 tablespoons rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons manuka honey
  • couple drops tea tree oil

Combine together and slather on clean face. Try not to lick. Leave on skin for about 15 minutes. Gently rinse with water using circular motion. Enjoy glowing skin!

And don’t forget about restful sleep, plenty of water, and lots of movement!

Should you eat mindfully?

Your food disappeared but you don’t remember eating it?

You eat while rushed and hurried? Distracted?

You eat when stressed? Bored?

You have feelings of guilt when eating certain foods?

Yes? Then try cultivating a mindful eating practice. The benefits of mindful eating are amazing! This ancient practice transforms the way you think about food. Helping you tune in to what your body really needs, how much and what to eat. While enjoying what you eat!

How you eat is just as important as what you eat. Check our Events page for the next Mindful Eating Workshop to learn more.
